Snaptide (“we”, “our”, “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how we store it, and your choices.

1) Who We Are & Contact

Snaptide is currently operating in beta and is not yet registered as a separate legal entity. All privacy queries can be directed to the contact below.

2) Information We Collect

From Photographers

  • Name and studio name
  • Contact details (email, phone number)
  • Branding assets (logo, watermark)
  • Account login information

From Guests

  • Name, email, and phone number (when required for gallery access, downloads, or purchases)
  • Selfie uploaded solely for face recognition to find that guest’s photos

Selfies used for recognition are processed and then deleted; they are not retained after matching is complete.

Collected Automatically

  • Usage and device data (e.g., pages visited, browser type, device information)
  • Cookie data for functionality and analytics

3) How We Use Information

  • Operate and provide the Snaptide platform and its features
  • Match guests with their photos via AI-based face recognition
  • Personalize galleries, apply watermarks, and manage access
  • Send service communications, support responses, and billing notices
  • Improve platform performance, reliability, and user experience

4) Storage & Security

  • All data is stored on our own servers located in India.
  • Guest photos are stored on separate, non-public storage servers that are not directly exposed to the internet.
  • Only Snaptide application servers can access these storage servers via tightly controlled, audited access layers.
  • Selfie images uploaded for recognition are deleted after processing and are not kept.
  • We implement technical and organizational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access and misuse.

Note: We do not advertise at-rest encryption for user photos. Our approach centers on strict network isolation and access controls.

5) Sharing of Information

  • We do not sell or share guest data with third parties for marketing.
  • We may share minimal information with payment processors (e.g., name, email, billing details) to process payments.
  • We do not share photos or selfies with third-party AI vendors or analytics tools.

6) Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, photographers and guests may:

  • Access their personal data and photos
  • Request a copy of the data associated with their account or gallery
  • Request deletion of their personal data and photos
  • Withdraw consent for communications or gallery access where consent is the basis

7) Data Retention

  • Photographer account data is retained while the account remains active.
  • Guest gallery data is retained for the life of the event/gallery or as requested by the photographer or guest.
  • Selfie images for recognition are deleted after matching is completed.

8) Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and analytics to operate the site, understand usage, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If required by law in your region, we will display a cookie banner with choices.

9) International Users

Our servers are located in India, but Snaptide may be accessed globally. By using Snaptide from outside India, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in India, subject to this Policy.

10) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates here and revise the “Effective Date” above.
